What causes Cerebral Palsy?
The cause for Cerebral Palsy isn’t exactly known, however there is some form of brain damage or lacking of development in the brain during pregnancy. These can be caused by:
- infection
- poor maternal health or
- possible genetic disorder
Premature babies are said to be at a higher risk. It is also important to note that brain damage can also occur during infancy such as a fall, car accident or shaken
baby syndrome.
