Types of C.P.
Dr. Bachrach (2012) explores 3 types of C.P. with levels of severity defined:
Spastic Cerebral Palsy: stiffness and movement difficulties
Athetoid Cerebral Palsy: leads to involuntary and uncontrolled movements
Ataxic Cerebral Palsy: causes disturbed sense of balance and
depth perception
There are often expressions of:
Rigidity: muscle resistance to movement
Tremor: uncontrolable shaking
